My Story
Although originally born in Pretoria, South Africa, I now live in Atlanta, Ga. I currently attend Georgia State University, studying business management. Most of my time is spent between studies and serving in my local church where I help manage a small media team. I love to travel and capture beautiful scenes, strange objects, or just a smiling face. In fact, the majority of my pictures come from my most recent trip to South Africa where I visited Cape Town, Pretoria, East London, and Durban.

Stillness, a word that only begins to describe the calming effect of Bruce VanZylÕs photography. His pictures seem to slow everything down to the beauty within a moment. I am helplessly drawn into the perspective of his subjects, he has an eye for the thankless existence of those things that we have come to depend on every day. Beauty and ingenuity, lost to the passing of time, come alive with each of his shots. IÕm simply reminded of how kept we are and how far weÕve come.
